I haven’t been on the scale since June 28th and I’m beginning to have some anxiety about it. I’m not sure why I am feeling anxiety regarding the scale, I haven’t been eating badly, but I am 6 days into ten days of vacation so I’ve been off my usual plan of Monday spin, Tuesday elliptical, Wednesday spin, Thursday elliptical at the gym.
Starting this coming week, after my 10 days off (sadly) comes to an end, my schedule during the week will look like this: Monday spin, Tuesday Everest group personal training (that’s code for 3 of the 4 of us going in on a personal training session) with Satan–her name is actually Kristina Guy, she works at the SportsBarn and she is funny and lovely and all things talented in the way of training– followed by elliptical if I can still move, Wednesday spin and Thursday Everest with Satan.
It’s fair to say that I’m a little nervous about starting personal training, I’ve heard K & H moan, groan, bitch and whimper about their 5am personal training sessions for months now. I’ve also heard them talk about their results and improvement in their fitness and stamina with a glowing smile, and I’ve wanted to stab them when they ran the last 100 yards of a 7 mile hike because they could. Seriously, jerks.
So I’m going to try it. Sharing a trainer with 3 people makes it a lot more affordable, and decreasing the size of my ass is worth giving up some things that would normally suck money from my wallet.
